Hello, I am Yannis (the boss’s husband).
After having studied psychology in the USA, I returned to Greece and joined the family business (in true Greek style) which was established by my father, Aristotelis. I got involved in all aspects of running the store. My introduction to the manufacturing had already taken place since I was young watching and helping my father work on wood. The next stepping stone was to found the Aristoteles Leather & Olivewood Workshop with my wife Diana in Katakolo, Greece in 2005.

Having worked with leather and wood for more than 25 years, designing and creating our Wood& Leather Handbgags collection was a natural progression. Also collaborating with my wife, Diana we created our Greek Leather Earring collection. By providing friendly, family style service and turning a customer’s visit in our store a “Greek Experience” is something I take pride in.

Having been a competitive swimmer in my younger years I learned to value the virtue of persistence and hard work in everything that I do. And since it is only worth doing something if you do it at 100%, creating and serving will be my life.

Hello, I am Diana (the boss’s wife).
Born and raised in the UK I entered the retail industry at 17 years old as a sales assistant. I trained in retail store and window display. At 20 years old I moved to the USA where I continued my career in retail moving up through management positions to become a regional sales trainer. I decided to leave America to follow my desire to travel the world that eventually led me to Greece where I met my husband Yannis…and the rest is history.

Having a passion to be creative I apply my skills to produce impressive in store displays and craft new uniquely designed merchandise. Inspired by the stunning beauty of the Greek beaches I started making the Pebble Art Pictures and Pebble Jewelry. Making the Leather Jewelry was only a natural development as my husband and I have been selling leather products for 25 years in our store in Katakolo. On a personal note, my passion to create provides me with a therapeutic distraction from the difficulties I face living with Multiple Sclerosis for the last 20 years.

My mission in life is to reach peoples’ hearts and minds through my personable character and my unique creations, always served with a big portion of houmor.
